REVIEW:

In early February 2022 came out in the web on some sites this compilation of 1970-1971 live tracks from the Faces which presents the band on the John Peel Sunday Concert on 2 different occasions; the 1971 concert is well known and has appeared on many bootlegs so far and is here presented in full with the exclusion of Cut Across shorty that came out officially in 2004 in the 4 cd box Five Guys Walk Into A Bar, strangely though they did not omit Love In Vain from the same source, which also came out on You Can Make Me Dance, Sing Or Anything 5 discs in 2015. Wicked Messenger comes from BBC 1 Dave Lee Travis Show from an interview disc, with his spoken introduction and just like Maybe I’m Amazed is in perfect stereo; the last track though (You’re My Girl, misnamed as I Don’t Want To Discuss It) is the same as the one from the 1971 broadcast.
