REVIEW:

Here we have the first Boston concert recording, of which there were three sources all incomplete: Source #1 had the first three tracks missing (version #1) and it ran too fast (it had to be decelerated by -8,75%.) Source #2 was Keef Riff Hard (Zero Records ZR CD 202-2) which also missed these tracks plus Big Enough, but the speed was correct and had the best sound. Source #3 was on a 3rd Gen cassette, lineage: Maxell UDXLII Tape > technics rs-t60r > phillips cdr 760>EAC>TLH>flac): this one has a good sound, missed the last track but contained the 3 first tracks that were missing on the other versions. Consequently, it was decided to do a mix of these 3 sources to get a complete show with the best sound. Version #2 was used as the basis and was completed with the other ones. All the transitions between t racks have been reworked so they now start with a song.Version #1 was decelerated it by -8,75%, the sound amplified and channels rebalanced. Version #3: had to be accelerated by +0,5%, the sound a bit boosted and channels rebalanced (+10% for the right channel). All these versions complemented each other and so for the first time we have a complete recording of this show. From this date the band’s introduction happens on the first notes of Rockawhile. Ultimately this has turned out to be a nice document of the concert, quite listenable, in fact.
