REVIEW:

The first show in December was at Philadelphia’s Tower Theatre, the show’s setlist is identical to the New York one, except for Big Enough missing; all the available versions are identical. The main one was called We Are Here To Rockawhile Philly (Rockin’ Rott). The intro and the 14 first seconds of Take It So Hard have been reworked from a very bad quality segment: the sound was very low and almost only from the right channel; therefore, this channel was duplicated and its sound amplified: now it’s clearer but with a rumble… anyway better than nothing. In the first tracks the right channel had to be re-balanced by adding +10% … through the middle of Too Rude.  In this song, at 3’48, the right channel started to be very low and had to be amplified by +60%!  This track needed to be rebuilt and the result is not too bad. The same happened for the other tracks from Disc n°1 (+60% to the right channel) and only +40% was necessary for the right channel on Disc n°2. Some micro-gaps between the tracks have been deleted and a dozen of digital noises too. So, apart from the beginning all the rest is very good now. Some notes: the first seconds of Whip It Up are lost and there is a fade in/out between Happy and Connection on the encore break. This recording is indeed weird, seeming to come through an excess of Dolby usage, but when you get used to the muddy background it can be enjoyed.
