REVIEW:

This release presents some Stones tracks from 1967 concerts; the April 11th, 1967 L’Olympia 2nd show tape has seen many releases: in vinyl on Fucking And Sucking (TAP 010-PRO), A L’Olympia 1967 (Magic Dwarf Rec. MDR-4), 100% Odd Lots or The Best of the Rest (TMOQ Odd One), The Real Alternate Album Between the Buttons (RTR 007) and Let the Airways Flow 2: Melvourne, Paris & London 166-67 (1060 rec. R&B 30). On silver disc: 100 % Odd Lots (VGP 026), Still I’m Gonna Miss You (VGP 073), A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss (VGP 101), Paris Match (Scorpio SCCD 15), Ready Steady Stones (VGP 248), Fuckin’ And Suckin’ (DAC 190), Gods in Olympia (TMOQ 002-004), Our Last Concert Ever… (Sister Morphine 57), Du Fond Du Coeur (FF 01), 66 Route (Godfather Rec. 262), Olympia Live in the Sixties (Goldplate 1302 CD), Everlasting Tour 1966-67 (Eternal Grooves 0007). As for the second Milano concert it has been released only on Scandinavian Shakedown (VGP 365). The Paris recording is excellent, coming from a re-broadcast of the show, with some worse quality patches; the second Milano show is historically important and is less good quality being an audience recording. The remaining two tracks seem to come from Zurich and are in poor quality.
