The review

Here we have Part 2 of The Vaults Rare and Unreleased Tracks which is split: Disc One with Brian Jones and Disc Two with Mick Taylor for a total of 41 tracks. This is just as impressive as Volume One as far as stereo separation, maybe even more; here too we get the demixes which also help in clearing some vocals like Keith Richards on Gimme Shelter, which have always sounded buried in the mix. This is also valid for the tv broadcasts that we can now hear in stereo with renewed clarity; it must also be noted that tracks like Drift Away and Living in the Heart of Love feature the original mix that has been remastered wihich is different from the lately officially issued ones. It is funny though that they decided to apply the same method to Route 66 from Camden 64, because that was already in stereo, since it has been the first stereo broadcast from the BBC! Anyway, the upgraded sound quality is evident here as well.
