The review
This release presents a copy of Captain Acid’s treatment of The Swingin' Pig TSP-CD-200-4) as always he had worked on azimuth, phase & level correction as well as providing a new equalization and presented his job on a release titled Handsome Girls (APCD 112) in 2025.
The first two discs include the entire Forth Worth show in the best possible quality sourced from the King Biscuit archives – uncensored, with tracks on Disc Two from 4 to 11 being alternate mixes. Discs Three and Four present almost every song broadcasted from the '78 tour plus a few that weren't, including Starfucker.
Many bootlegs have come out with such title, apart from The Swingin’ Pig TSP-CD 200, Dandelion 030-033 in 1998, DPCD 09-12 in 2005 which had these same covers, other having similar ones like Handsome Girls, Some Wives (and a Pretty Woman) OGM 033-036 in 2010 or Gorgeous Girls Redux (Sister Morphine 24) all containing the KBFH material and Girls, Pills and Powders (Pignose 023) a 5 discs set. Captain Acid’s release was called like this (APCD 112) and presented these tracks in the best possible shape which means being very close to an official release. Curiously, here each disc is 1 second longer than the original Cpt.Acid release.
