This release presents both stones shows from Boston on their 1972 US Tour, the label tried to upgrade the concerts recordings as much as possible, but the outcome is unsatisfactory, the problem lies with the original sources, the ones chosen were not the best and the results reflect that.

The first concert appeared on tape as Out On Bail ’72 and Waiting On The Midnight Ramblers, on cd on Midnight Gamblers (Exile EXM 009 A/B), Jailhouse Rock (DAC 026), Jailhouse Rock (Pignose PGN 089) stereo, They Are Really Rockin’ in Boston (VGP 020) in 2 different sources, The Golden Era 1969-1974 Vol.2 (SODD 094) and Sgt Ricci’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Tarantura TCDRS 27) and in 2018 on Boston 1972 (no label) 2 cd that also featured the 19 July show, the first disc same as The Golden Era 1969-1974, the second same as Jailhouse rock (DAC 026) with pitch corrected. The second concert appeared on tape on 7-19-72 Boston show, on cd on Boston 1972 (no label) 2 cd and on Midnight Gamblers (Exile EXM 009), Jailhouse Rock (DAC 026), Ginsoaked Barroom Queen in Boston (Weeping goat 008), Jailhouse Rock (Pignose PGN 089).
