REVIEW:

Here is another rework of the Abkco live tracks, this time only the first show at Madison Square Gardens, New York s been converted to wav with proper removed of the dial tone/hum, of a few clicks and of the existing gaps between the tracks; it has also been fixed a missing piece between I m Free and Midnight Rambler with a patch from an audience recording (first generation transfer). It is funny as I never get tired of listening to this show, probably among the best live Stones performances of all times, This version is more fluid in listening providing the right flow of songs having get rid of some microgaps and of the annoying and pathetic dial tone/hum that marred the original published version on YouTube; however there still are some pops that come up unexpectedly as during Love In Vain, in the quiet parts become audible. Another bonus consists of the in between songs Jagger remarks, many of which are clearly heard for the first time here.

As mentioned in the previous review there are 8 songs from this concert that have never before been available in soundboard quality because not released on Get Yer Ya Yas Out in 1970 nor on the 2009 Deluxe edition and it is really a gas listening to the whole show in this quality, although in mono, especially because there are no overdubs.
