The review
Ron Wood’s Slide On Live Tour remains in California for Volume 11 of this series, in San Francisco. All versions were coming from the same recording source. The chosen one seemed to be clearer than the others, but its speed had to be decelerated by around -3,3%. Both channels have been rebalanced.
Some digital noises edited out in Silicone Grown at 2’24, in Josephine at 3’15, 3’23 and from 3’25 to 3’26 (a patch was used here because the noises were far too many). There was a gap after Pretty Beat Up therefore it was decided to do the separation of the 2 discs here. Note that the Encore Break was not recorded and that Stay With Me is brutally interrupted at 3’45.
This concert is special because Van Morrison joined Ron Wood for Little Red Rooster, changing the lyrics in “Did you see Mick Jagger?â€. Anyway, unfortunately the overall quality is not that good.
