This release showcases many official versions found on 7" and 12" of "Dancing In The Street" the cover of Martha & The Vandellas hit that Jagger and Bowie put out in a rush in 1985 where the video was shown during Live Aid. So we have the official version, the long Steve Thompson & Michael Barbieri mix, the Bob Clearmountain remix, the Dub version and also the only existing live performance taken from the Princes Trust held in London in 1986 where a supergroup lead by Paul McCartney backed them up. As bonus track we get a bunch of 12" (mostly instrumentals) of   solo Jagger singles with various remixes, all in excellent sound quality that makes this compilation a remarkable effort; this is something we cannot expect to come out officially (or maybe just on i-tunes format) even though from a pure musical value it won t cover the pinnacle of Jasgger s (or Bowie's) career; but collector won t look at that aspect.
