REVIEW: |
This new release
presents Mick Jagger jamming with Jeff Beck in the studio in the first three
tracks from the sessions for his Primitive Cool album. These are nice sounding
tracks which present real studio jams, the rest are just official songs from
Wandering Spirit with the last one from a session for Leon Russell recorded in
1970 with Ringo Starr and George Harrison. It is hard to understand why this
label tried to pass these tracks as if recorded for the promotion of Wandering
Spirit at the Webster Hall in February 1993, but thats it.
