REVIEW:

This release presents the Stones first stop in Los Angeles which, from the opening Let’s Spend the Night Together to the inclusion of Rocks Off, Get Off Of My Cloud and Ruby Tuesday, was one of the longest in this tour. This concert was documented on a 2cdr called Los Angeles 14-10-21 taken from the pit and remastered by Cpt. Acid which is the one showed here that was soon followed by another set called Los Angeles, Ca October 14, 2021; in Japan came out a no label set called Los Angeles 2021 1st Night and another called Inglewood 2021 1st Night as well as on No Filter Tour 221 Live in Sofi Stadium (Exile EXCDR NFT20211014ABC) with an accompanying DVD-r. This is a nice recording that has some surprises beside the setlist, one of them being the gospel ending of You Can’t Always Get What You Want which Jagger remarks thanking the Inglewood Singers.

The sound of this album is great and clear, but at times lowers, it seems the taper got distracted and did not aim the microphone at the PA; packaging is superb with the turquoise vinyl that shocks at every turn of the platter, the artwork is excellent making full use of all the available jacked sides for showing great photos of the event. It must also be said that since some time this label has wrapped its products in thick plastic sheets having stickers that describe the content as well as the limited quantity produced, that cannot be taken away from them, so better leave the product wrapped in the plastic sleeves.
