This Voodoo Lounge outtakes project represents a supplement to the sessions, based on new tracks and takes that appeared in recent years. This project started when Imthemastah posted first three audio excerpts and then a nearly two-hour video in the IORR Hot Stuff forum. It was shot at Don Was' studio in Los Angeles in February 1994. The main idea was to do a complete version from the audio of this great testimony (which is the version reviewed here) and a second version posted separately with only the musical parts that I will combine with the other newly circulating outtakes (that will be on FP 137).

At first the video was ripped, then the tracks edited and de-clicked the recording cleaning it up by deleting lots of noises (all ‘by hand’) in particular in the Stones songs. The sax player involved was Davud Murray, the end result being a nice peep into the Stones at work in very good quality.
