This
release caused quite a stir, due to the fact that copyrighted material was
published on a torrent site and later on a well-known message board after
having been reworked, so it was soon deleted and the maker sanctioned; however here
the reason for reworking an official release from the accompanying notes: “This
is one of the best Stones shows ever, but once again we have a real bad
brickwalled mastering; the original dynamic range is just 8, while vinyl
edition will be better for sure, it was decided to fix it just in order to
listen enjoying it; consequently, all of the files have been de-clipped in
iZotope RX9, so new dynamic range is now 11â€.
Undoubtedly
no bootleg label will venture to copy and release such job, partly due to the
fact that the original set was issued on May 13th, 2022 but also
because they believe not many fans would spend money to get just a ‘better
sounding’ version. It has however been felt to be worthy of a review in here,
despite the fact that it is not a bootleg per se, nor a pirate, maybe we can we
call it just a remix.
Unfortunately,
there is no proper artwork, just a reproduction of the official front one,
while the back cover is missing. Apart from that the overall sound output is in
fact much better than the official release, too bad it is not available
commercially.
