REVIEW:

This album presents songs from the Stones 1972 American tour, that was called STP (Stones Touring Party) “the rock’n roll tour of all time” which consisted of 51 shows in 32 cities played in front of 750.000 people which grossed 4 million dollars. The band had the intention to release a double live album from it from the Philadelphia and New York shows but it never materialized due to a clash with Abkco over material used for it. The output was however circulating thanks to a FM radio broadcast from Cleveland WMMS that broadcasted eleven songs counting Uptight and Satisfaction as separate tracks; here they are in great stereo soundboard quality in this vinyl release which is the first one from 1972 to come out semi officially. The sound is really great with extreme stereo separation, despite being advertised as mono on front cover (!) and just no hiss.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
