Almost one year has passed from the release of Part One and this box hat presents the remaining 7 shows from the Stones 2022 European tour. It is not clear what has happened, it seems likely though that the label had a problem in pressing cds, this is also evident by the fact that all the recently issued vinyl box sets (Bridges to Babylon Alternate, Hot Stuff Another Black And Blue Album, It’s Only Rock’n Roll Alternate and even Salt Lake City 2005) had no cd accompanying the vinyl albums as it happened in the past, so it is reasonable to conclude that this box, as well as the Millard 1989 set, have been contracted out to some other company to be pressed. Anyway, the Brussels concert appeared on A Brussels Affair 2cdr, soon followed by Brussels Affair 2022 (no label) 2cd in audience quality and Brussels Affair (Empress Valley 1625-6) from an uncirculated audience source; the audience recording can also be found on Brussels (Brussels Sprout Rec. SJ 8829522800) a 3LP set. This is a nice recording with some audience interferences, but a good sounding one.

The show in Vienna came out on Ernst Happel Stadion Vienna and on Vienna 2022 both 2cdr sets; here we have a change in the setlist with You Can’t Always Get What You Want that was moved at the end of the concert as first encore, conversely Paint It Black is moved to the first part of the show; this is a nice recording for the first time on silver disc.

The Lyon concert appeared on Lyon 2022 and on Lyon 2022 (no label) in audience quality, then on

Salut Les Gones! (Empress Valley 1623-4) that presented the first IEM recording of this tour that appeared also on Lyon 2022 (Sixty Tongue Rec. EJ322000877) a 3LP set; this source was reworked by Cpt.Acid in Out Of Time in Lyon (APCD 075). The version here is the audience source. Now, the setlists in the booklet are represented by Ron Wood paintings, so in the Lyon case Gimme Shelter was on the setlist, but due to Jagger’s throat problem it was not played that night.

Paris has so far only been released on Sixty Paris 2022 2cdr in audience quality, however the recording here is excellent. As for Gelsenkirchen, which was only available on Gelsenkirchen 2022 2cd (no label), the recording in here is a vit distant and with lots of audience comments, but listenable. Differently, the Sweden concert was released as Stockholm 2022 2cdr but also as Sixty Tour 2022 Stockholm (Crystal Cat 1145-6) 2 cds; the recording here is not from the latter though. The last concert of this tour came out as Waldbuhne, Berlin 2022 and Sixty Waldbuhne 2022 both 2cdr sets, then on Berlin 2022 (no label) 2 cd, while Fool To Cry from this show is also found on Sixty Tour 2022 Stockholm (Crystal Cat 1145-6); the recording here is an average one, often marred by too much audience participation.
