REVIEW:

Volume 7 of the New Barbarians series documents the Milwaukee stop, f or this show there were two transfers coming from the same source; the first one the more commonly circulating and the other one coming from a cd-r trade from some years ago: this latter one had the best sound, lossless and pitch corrected. Both channels have been rebalanced (+20 to 40% for the right channel) and volume amplified, while deleting a micro-gap between the tracks and reworking the transitions between tracks that now start with the song. The radio announcement had to be accelerated by +3,6% but the speed for the show seemed to be correct. Not being present in the setlist, it is assumed that I Can Feel The Fire was not played in this show; as bonus are included here the two soundboard tracks coming from the soundcheck in the Milwaukee Arena; these reworked tracks come from Disc no.3 of the Drug Dealer Tapes (EVSD 198). This is a nice show, well recorded enough to let us appreciate the growing development the band is having, date after date; the soundcheck tracks are evidence of the overall good health this combo of musicians had.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
