REVIEW:

This release presents the Stones Berlin soundcheck, the l ine-up was: Mick Jagger on vocals, guitar, harmonica, Keith Richards on guitar, Ron Wood on guitar, Steve Jordan on drums, Darryl Jones on bass, Chuck Leavell on keyboards and backing vocals, Bernard Fowler on backing vocals, Sasha Allen on backing vocals, Tim Ries on sax, Karl Denson on sax and Matt Clifford on keyboards.

The lineage for this recording came from a taper (GA) who simultaneously recorded with an audio device (SonyXperia XZ2) and a video device (Panavision DMC-TZ10), with t he Panavision recording that was lossy; consequently, the lossless Sony recording had been reworked editing, boosting and duplicating it since the original recording was monaural.

Therefore, matrixes were done with both recordings (left channel Sony audio and right channel Panavision audio). Despite all this is not that bad sounding, it is indeed interesting to listen while wondering the band still needed to practice these songs at the end of the tour. It is funny how the Funky Jam reminds I Love Ladies beginning, anyway as specified in the notes this is for completists only.
