REVIEW:

The Stones stop in Milwaukee on the 1975 American tour has been regarded as one of their better performances of the Tour with the bonus of two rarely played songs, Sure The One You Need and Luxury; unfortunately no great recordings of this gig exist, however three songs have been released some years ago on I m Working So Hard (Black Light 2002-3) then the whole show can be found on Sure The One You Need (Hard Road 50/70-71) and on Milwaukee 75 Sure Need Luxury (no label ). On cdr there are The Sun Is Going Down, Keith s Taking His Clothes Off Now (Rockin Rott) as well as Milwaukee 1975 Part One and Two, Milwaukee County Stadium June 8th 1975 but all offering poor sound and recently Love You Live Milwaukee (Pignose 154) and One Vision (Midnight Dreamer 330). The song Sure the One You Need can be found on The Missing Jewels (Rattlesnake 025-8), on Tour of the Americas 1975 (Godfather GFR 244-5), Stoned MSG 1969 (VGP 018) and on Tour of Americas 75 box (WLR 124). Just like Love You Live Milwaukee Disc Two ends with the 1975 Tour Announcement and a news report

This release by Captain Acid has been the subject of the usual treatment: phase, pitch and level correction and than Equalization, the output is still somehow metallic but at least it is possible to listen to he whole concert without having to remove the headphones in despair; the sound drop midway into You Can t Always Get What You Want has been fixed, but Billy Preston tracks are still bad sounding.

This is one of the best performances of 1975 the band was on fire here with Jagger is singing really differently than he did later in the tour, this is one is quite special; a great performance. This version appeared first on a torrent site in 2006, but in this case it comes from a different tape transfer than the most recent torrent of Milwaukee 1975, sounding different: it has been remastered in April 2012 and there are no overloaded sounds.
The covers have been made by Mr. D who made another great artwork, using   photographs from the Milwaukee gig.
