The title of this
release means just ‘We'll spend the evening together then!’; some time ago a
new version of this show was posted on Dimeadozen by Letsgo and for this reason,
it was decided to merge European Tour Paris 1982 (VGP 289) and Mercy Paris (JL
011-012). To synchronize the 2 sources, the VGP version was chosen as reference
and it was necessary to slow down Mercy Paris on average by 2% (as that
recording has speed variations it was necessary to work in small pieces of 30
seconds to one minute each). It was also discovered that these 2 versions had
gaps (not in the musical parts but between the songs), so now the recording is
complete (over 3 minutes longer with regards to the VGP version). It's still a
real DIY in Frankenstein style ... and listed as volume 121 of this series. The
pictures used for the covers come from Doctor Stones’ website. This concert was
released as European Tour Paris 1982 (VGP 289), Mercy Paris (JL 011-12), Paris
1982 (no label) cdr which had a different and better source, unfortunately
incomplete from Chantilly Lace on, Hippodrome d’Auteuil 14 June 1982 cdr and as
part of European Tour 1982-The Complete Foxes in the Boxes (WLR-Fox Juice
Recordings FJR-02). This release presets in fact a broader audience recording
that offers a wider spectrum with regards to the previous available versions of
this show |
