This
release presents Mayflower s version of the studio alternates that have been uploaded
on YouTube for one day at the end of 2019 by Abkco. The title is pretty strange
as it is hard to understand what is its meaning. Artwork is nice, but as in
almost all Mayflower releases recording information is incorrect.
There are,
however additional tracks, Disc One in fact begins with some other 68 songs, the
first take of Child Of The Moon originally called Mickey Mouse Blues
excellent stereo output like well known outtakes
Family and Everybody Pay Their Dues (this too sounding great). What follows
then is Sympathy For The Devil, Dear Doctor and the other take of Family. The
first Abkco 2019 track is the instrumental take of Stray Cast Blues that is
followed by David Frost Sympathy For The Devil and by the soundtracks of
Jumping Jack Flash promo videos. The two songs we get then are what have been
called the Rock n Roll Circus rehearsal takes (Ruby Tuesday and Sympathy For
The Devil). This disc ends with other tracks recently liberated by Abkco, just
like all on Disc Two where we get You Can t Always Get What You Want chorus
overdub version that is split according to each interruption (or take, if you
like), something peculiar for this release; there are still some pops heard
here and there, especially in the spoken parts. So, this is a nice release with
some interesting high quality improvements (Mickey Mouse Blues) that can be
appreciated by collectors looking for sound improvements rather than completely
new stuff .
