REVIEW:

It is not usual that for a previously unknown broadcast to come out these days; here we have a 1977 radio show from Japan with a Mick Jagger interview that has been released on a cdr; amazingly the music is in stereo including the early Stones tracks of which have been used electronically processed versions when possible. The only drawback is Japanese translation that at times overlaps Jagger s words, but that happens at the end of his speech. In the first part Jagger talks about how amazing it is that 65% all of the records in the hit list last year (1976) were not American ones, on the second part talks about the US West Coast over The Under Assistant West Coast Promo Man (unlisted) while the third and final part has Jagger talking about entertaining audiences; it must be noted that the versions of Brown Sugar and Angie are live and come from Nasty Songs/Music bootlegs, tracks from 38 through the end though have no relation with the RS Special programme.

This is a nice discovery for completists, although the front cover   Hyde Park 69 shot is kind of out of place.
