REVIEW:

After the rehearsals came the show, the version used here was the one coming from Suckin’ Don On Saturday Night because the sound was very good and lossless (while most other versions were lossy). As usual the recording has been de-clicked, sound amplified, channel rebalanced (+5% to the left channel) and speed corrected (accelerated by +1,75% to be in synch with the video). The short intro comes from the video; fo r the most curious and because the show was very short, have been added some merges made to control the speed and another 1978 SNL extract with Mick Jagger. In detail:

Part I features merges from the rehearsal recordings: Merges with the common sequences between Glimmerman’s source and the video source (left channel: the video source and right channel: Glimmerman’s source).

Part II merges from the show recordings and reworked audios (right channel: the video and left channel: the reworked audio). Note numerous small fluctuations in the speed of the recordings.

Part III Mick Jagger with Peter Tosh on Saturday Night Live, the line-up was : Mick Jagger on vocals, Peter Tosh on guitar and vocals, Robbie Shakespeare on bass, Mikey Chung on guitar, Sly Dunbar on drums, Robert Lyn on keyboards, Lou Marini on sax, Alan Rubin on trumpet, Tom Malone on trombone & three female backing singers.
