The Stones 3^rd stop of their 2022 Euro Tour happened in Liverpool and it was a great show after more than 50 years from the previous time they were in town on the 1971 UK tour; there was no song vote but I Wanna Be Your Man took its place, some kind of a homage to Liverpool’s best known band. They did not play You’ll Never Walk Alone, the Merseyside hit song turned into football club anthem, but it was sung by the audience during the break before the encore, this time still consisting of Gimme Shelter as first song. Keith Richards is late in singing the first verses of Connection so here we get a longer introduction. This recording is generally good with the exception of some distortion during Sympathy For The Devil, but documents well a nice date.
