REVIEW:

The 1979 Oshawa 2nd show appeared on vinyl as Blind Date (Box Top or Pod Rec. KR 422) 2 LP as audience recording and later on El Mocambo+ 1977 4 LP, 2 cd (Red Tongue Rec. 029) soundboard stereo with 1 song from the New Barbarians; then 1 track is on The Live Album (Fanatic Rec.5228), 1 track on The Best of Live Concert (Living Legends Record 070), 1 on Stoned Stones (Apollo Rec.786). On compact it was released as Blind Date (OMBS 100 and Shaved Discs 026/7) 2 cds, Blind Date Revisited (TSP 202 and VGP QC 5253) as stereo soundboard but without the New Barbarians set, Keith Where s The Party Tonight? (Sound Carrier S. 7007-8) in mono soundboard, Toronto 1979 (SOS 790422), Toronto Star (7473822 CD) stereo soundboard without Prodigal Son, K.Richards Benefit Concert (Sister Morphine 40) remastered soundboard, Court Order (Godfather Records 536) in stereo soundboard with 1 song from the New Barbarians, as part of Tour 1978 13 cd (WLR 2129) soundboard stereo offering both bands, then as Blind Date Revisited (Grexit 062). 3 tracks can also be found on Unreleased Live Stones 69-89 (Golden Stars LACD 1034) both sets in soundboard stereo just missing the intro and 1 song on Electric Motherfuckers (KRCR 14). It must be said that in 2018 and 2019 were released on the internet soundboard and audience versions of both shows. Then it came out as Blind Date (DAC 197) that presented both bands in stereo soundboard from the 2nd concert with correct pitch, in what was called the definitive edition of this concert which also includes an uncredited Outro. According to the label here are presented 2 versions, on the first 2 discs is version 1 which has the New Barbarians and the Stones, while on version 2 we get only 1 song from the New Barbarians and the whole Stones set. Version 1 is an upgrade of the soundboard version, while on version 2 there is the Respectable uncut version which is 4 seconds longer (2.54 instead of 2.50).
