After a long hiatus WLR has finally released the cd recordings of the Stones USA 2024 Tour, this first box presents the first 7 shows, this has been the first tour they did in the States without their former drummer Charlie Watts replaced by Wino’s Steve Jordan. The whole set has very good quality recordings, the opening show came out as Houston 2024 (Uxbridge cdr and Empress Valley 1894-5), then was released Opening Night in Houston (Outside Discs) and Houston 28 April 2024 2 cdr, Houston NRG Stadium (APCD 095), which presented a new equalized work by Cpt.Acid. Hackey Elixir (Mayflower 235-7) presented on 3 discs Houston and New Orleans recordings while on vinyl was released The First Diamond (Soundcraft Rec.7) a 3LP box. Apart from Hackney Elixir (Mayflower 235-7) New Orleans came out as New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2024 (no label), as New Orleans 2024 (E.Valley 1899-1900) and as Jazz Fest New Orleans ((Exile) 2 cdr + 1 DVD-R; this concert had 2 guests, Dwayne Dopsie on accordion on Let It Bleed and Irma Thomas on Time Is On Our Side.
