Source #1 can be found on Sou De Puta Madre (No Label) or 60000 Fans in Barcelogne (sic). The recording was lossless and complete, but the sound distant and the crowd very upfront.

Source #2 can be found on Live In Stadi Olimpic Montjuic (SRS Records P 39), here the sound was better than on source #1 and this is the one found here.

It’s now been de-clicked, channel rebalanced (+20% for the right channel), the gap between tracks deleted and the transitions reworked.

Several glitches have been deleted and the phase upgraded. As bonus there are 3 tracks: It’s Only Rock’n Roll’ appeared as a soundboard recording in several compilations, for instance on Get Licked Around The World (Exile Records EXCD 039), but it seems that Start Me Up from these compilations was not from Barcelona. This soundboard version has been treated with noise reduction filter that altered its sound, so it has been decided to present it here, but merged with the SRS version which provides a better sound. Brown Sugar and Start Me Up circulated on a couple of TV reports broadcasts by Spanish TV. Here is a mix of the different reports in order to partially reconstruct the two songs. Brown Sugar comes from the audience version with exception from 0’20 until 0’38, coming from the TV reports. Start Me Up comes from the audience version but after 0’38 it comes from the TV reports. All in all the sound output is nice and the show well documented. This is a nice sounding release.
