REVIEW:

The last volume of this series is the Coimbra concert from Portugal, since Zaragoza is not available. 2 sources are in circulation from this show:

Source #1 is lossy with the audience very present. The tracks are often separated by gaps: it seems to be a compilation of cell phone recordings.

Source #2 coming from Hola Coimbra. The sound is sometimes distorted from wind blowing through the microphone and the right channel is weak but it has a better sound and it’s lossless: this is the one found here.

The recording is now being de-clicked, the channels rebalanced and the sound refocused. The transitions between tracks reworked and the phase upgraded. In particular, Brown Sugar fades in, Slipping Away for 4’40 was ruined by digital noises: what has been saved were the banter and the last two minutes the rest comes from source #1. For bonus we get Brown Sugar and You Can’t Always Get What You Want that circulated partially in some TV reports broadcasted by Portuguese TV. Here is a mix from different reports in order to partially reconstruct both songs. On Brown Sugar (combined version) from 0’00 to 0’08 the first 8 seconds from the intro came from the audio source #1 (but the transition with the start of the song was missing…); on You Can’t Always Get What You Want (merged version) the video soundtrack is on the left channel and the audio (source #1) on the right. This is a very good recording despite the occasional distortion from the wind, the performance is great and it is possible to hear subtleties like Blondie Chaplin mandolin like guitar during tracks like Angie or Slipping Away that give them a different color.
