| REVIEW: |
The second
release from OBR in 2026 presents some tracks from the Stones stop in Vancouver
on the Hackney Diamonds tour, plus as bonus some social media stuff where
Ronnie welcomes the watchers before painting his setlists. The concert tracks
are good sounding with Keith’s three numbers on Side B, but the most
interesting tracks are at the end: Down The Road Apiece comes from the
soundcheck, it was streamed on the Stones official Instagram channel, filmed by
Matt Clifford, unfortunately incomplete. Dreamy Skies instead comes from
Jagger’s visit in India in November 2023, again streamed on Instagram, this
time it is only Jagger himself, these tracks have been captured and preserved.
The album is dedicated to all fans who have followed the band for 60 years,
then to Brian Jones, Ian Stewart and Charlie Watts, not forgetting Bill Wyman
and Mick Taylor. The Jagger photo on the back comes from the book One More
Time. There 2 different front covers, for each vinyl release, on the red vinyl cover
the artwork is a mixture of the Tour Poster with the hand from the Sweets
Sounds Of Heaven & Mess It Up singles. On the black vinyl sleeve there are
OBR letters and Vancouver Ship in Hand picture as small sticker on front.
