Here is
the night show from Tokyo second day of
Charlie Watts Quintet, this again is a good quality recording that just needed
the usual separation of narration from songs, the sound has been amplified of
about 2db and covers created.
For the back cover some pictures have been used
from the great Japanese fanzine Stone People (issue #60).
This concert presents once
again the Charlie Parker Story as seen from the eyes on Charlie Watts and
played with the help of his longtime friend Dave Green on upright bass, Peter
King on sax, Gerard Presencer on trumpet, Brian Lemon on piano and Bernard
Fowler as narrator) & the string section Trybeat on Terra De Pajaro and
Going, Going, Going, Gone. This is another good quality recording, that seems
to have been done from the same spot of the others, it is not that hard to
imagine a 3 days booking by the same individual for all the evening and night
concerts.
