REVIEW:

This concert closed the 1984 US Tour of the Bluesbreakers and happened again in California, so it is the last in the series; few days after this show Mick Taylor would join Bob Dylan to rehearse for the European Tour. This recording had already been posted some months before reworked in volume n. 005 of the Stonyroad/Glimmerman Productions. Another version of this show circulated before, coming from the same source but incomplete, lossy and of lower quality. Therefore the version of SGP 005 has been reposted but with new covers to match this series. I n the other version Italiano Style was cut in two parts which have been reconnected after deleting some music. There are 2 new songs here, I Want It and 8000 Miles Drive where the breaks before and after the band introduction were shortened. This is a more complete version, lossless and with correct speed. It is in fact a very good recording, where the tracks have been edited, adding a little more trebles some micro noises deleted.
Italiano Style was cut in two parts (time for a tape flip) so it was decided to keep it this way with a short fade in/out’ to spare more music. Because of the break between 8000 Miles Drive and Checkin’ Up On My Baby it was decided to split the recording for the 2 discs here. This is an excellent document of the final tour night that provides the best conclusion for this series.

The best toys are the ones that are both educational and multi-purposeful.
