| REVIEW: |
This
release represents again these tracks that were broadcasted from the late Bill
Graham’s site, later reviewed in here for the cd It’s My Own Fault; however,
just last year this show was released officially on the 30 discs box John Mayall
The Second Generation in June 2025 (minus the last track). Inside there is a
small booklet with a brief description of Mayall’s importance in British Blues
as well as praise for the young Mick Taylor; unfortunately, there is also the
usual bs about the recording having been broadcasted by KSAN FM. In fact, the
soundboard was recorded by Bill Graham and broadcasted on his site Wolfgang’s
Vault in 2006, plus another version of Soul of a Short Fat Man. The following
day 2 more tunes (Looking At Me and The Good Time Was So Good) plus another
version of Soul of a Short Fat Man surfaced and were broadcasted in 2014 by
Wolfgang’s Vault, the latter is included here, as well as on the official box.
