Here’s
another concert from Zurich but this time from 1969; all the circulated
recordings were coming from the same source. The one chosen was the one marked
‘upgrade’ because it was not saturated as the other ones and it had already
been decelerated by -3,6%. The tracks have been de-clicked and lots of
microphone noises edited out. On Unidentified Slow Blues
a big noise at
1’30 was deleted, while on Unidentified Shuffle 2 a gap was deleted at 1’47.
The line-up
here was: Mick Taylor on guitar, John Mayall on vocals, guitar, harmonica and keyboards
Keith Tillman on bass and Colin Allen on drums. This is a real nice recording with
Tayor’s guitar pretty much upfront that steals the show, just listen to his
prolonged solos during Help Me.
