The review

Here we have 2 different shows from Zurich 1968. These recordings have not been widely circulating yet; they’re coming from the two Zurich shows in May 1968 where the Bluesbreakers shared the bill with The Move, Traffic, The Animals and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. The sound quality is average and the recordings unfortunately incomplete. The tracks have now been edited, de-clicked, the sound adjusted and the speed corrected (decelerated by -3,6%). I'm A Stranger had very bad speed problems, while Sad Sad Day was in two parts. The line-up here was: Mick Taylor on guitar, John Mayall on vocals, guitar, harmonica and organ, Tony Reeves on bass, Jon Hiseman on drums, Chris Mercer on tenor sax, Dick Heckstall-Smith on soprano sax and Henry Lowther on trumpet.
