REVIEW:

The second concert at Berkeley’s Keystone was presented as 2 different releases that however we have coupled in a two discs set and reviewed together. For this show there were two different sources. Version #1: had a good sound but a little muddy, it’s complete but lossy while version #2: is a soundboard but it’s incomplete and lossy. Therefore, it has been decided to propose both versions. Version 1 is the complete one, here some microgaps have been deleted between the tracks. Also, trebles were slightly increased The microphone variation in Parchman Farm at 5’55 was boosted and a gap in Room To Move eliminated at 4’10. There is a fade in/out after Room To Move (encore break). Disc Two comes from a lossy and incomplete recording called The Stone but with an excellent sound that seems a soundboard; it had to be decelerated by -0,5%. and one microgap and a digital noise between every track were deleted. This was a very nice show, Taylor was inspired and as a matter of fact there is another band introduction close to the end of Muddy Waters Blues. This is a nice sounding recording, the soundboard is quite clean but somehow sterile, while the audience version, besides being complete, offers the added bonus of fans comments which are almost all the times appropriate and contribute to the overall great feeling.
