formative years. Featuring revealing interviews with all the main players and
unseen archive (footage) released for the first time, and explores the creative
musical genius of Brian Jones, key to the success of the band, and uncovers how
the founder of what became the greatest rock’n’roll band in the world was left behind
in the shadow of history”. The known people interviewed are Bill Wyman, Linda
Lawrence*, Keith Richards, Lewis Jones*, Pat Andrews, Paul Trynka*, Melissa North*,
Dawn Molloy*, Michael Lindsay Hogg, Zouzou, Paul Mc Cartney*, Barry Miles*, Charlie
Watts*, Ronnie Schneider, Marianne Faithfull*, David Dalton*, Ahmet Ertegun*, Anita
Pallenberg*, Gered Mankowitz*, Lady Jane Ormsby Gore, Eric Burdon, Volker Schlondorff,

with * are only audio interviews; the interview with Jones, Jagger and Richards
by Gene Weed at the beginning is from Shivaree on 16 May 65. Also interviewed
Brian Jones school friend Roger Limb and Barry Miles and Graham Ride, friends
of the late guitarist. There are stunning images, like Brian playing the flute
in school or with Val Corbett, his girlfriend who gave him a child, on a boat. The
song So Far Away by B.Jones with Michael Aldred we hear a bit of, was recorded
in late 65-early 66.
There is
great unseen footage, especially notable are the private videos from the 50s and
the 60s. This is an excellent film that deserves a proper official release,
possibly with lots of bonus footage; till then this product will help fans and
collectors.
