REVIEW:

This is the recording of the first concert in New York, f or this show there were 3 sources: two good quality and lossless audio sources (the first one found was the Beano version).

The 3rd source is the video, but it was incomplete: the first 5 tracks and the last 2 were missing (Goodbye Irene on the video was from December 9).

Therefore 2 versions were made:

Vol 10a: complete version using the 1st source.

Vol 10b: complete too that contains

- a merge of the 2 audio sources for the 5 tracks missing from the video

- a merge of source #1 and the audio of the video. The version reviewed here is the first one which is the same that can be found on the box Grand Finale (Beano 028) but here it’s in lossless format. The recording has now been de-clicked, slightly amplified and speed corrected (decelerated by -0,11%).

This concert saw the addition of Ron Wood to the musicians.

In detail: on Disc One on the usual slow blues Medley Eric Clapton replaced Sad Day with That’s Alright, then on Cocaine, Seven Days and Feelin’ Alright Ron Wood joined the band (on the latter Bill Wyman was on backing vocals); on Worried Life Blues there was Stu on piano. On Disc Two Stu is announced as playing on Boogie Mama, on Midnight Moonlight a digital noise was deleted at 2’15. On Disc Three on Goodnight Irene Ron Wood joined the lot on guitar and backing vocals.

Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts are only on Discs One and Three.
