The review
This is the recording of the third and last show in San Francisco, For this show there were 3 sources:
Source #1 was a good lossless recording.
Source #2 was God Bless Ronnie Lane (Rockin’ Rott), recorded by Musigny23 but it is lossy and with an average sound.
Source #3 was the soundtrack of an incomplete video.
Hence it was decided to post 2 versions:
7a: source #1 which is the one reviewed here,
7b: merges of sources #1 and #3 .
In detail, on Disc One o n Watching The River Flow note a gap before the next track, Seven Days was merged except for the last 10 seconds which are solely coming from Vol 07a.
On Disc Two on Going Down note a fade in/out before the next set; on Stairway To Heaven note a fade in/out before the encores a short gap is now repaired in the banter from the Vol 07a source; Layla was merged a micro gap in the video source is now repaired at 2’08 while Goodnight Irene was merged except for the last 38 seconds which are solely coming from the video; unfortunately, Disc Two lasted over 80 minutes so some crowd’s applauses at the end of Layla had to be deleted.
Note that Bill Wyman & Charlie Watts play only on Tracks 1-13 of Disc One and on Tracks 10-12 of Disc Two.
