This
release presents the 28 October 1989 show in Scituate, Massachusetts at a venue
called Meaghan’s Place at the Bell Buoy. For this show there were 2
sources.

Source #2 a very good audience recording,
unfortunately
saturated.
A nice result came by merging both sources, hence 2 versions were done:
Volume 04a with the audience version.
Volume 04b with the merged version and this is the version reviewed
here.
The version less saturated is on the right channel
compared to the other, unfortunately there was nothing to be done about
saturation. In particular T
uning comes solely from the video.
On Goin’ South because of a gap in the video source (between two VOBs) a
0’36 second gap is now compensated at 9’27. On Semolina the first 20 seconds
come solely from the video, some microphone defaults have been corrected in the
final banter and on Red House because of a gap in the video source (between two
VOBs) a 0’36 second gap is now compensated at 4’44. The Outro comes solely from
the video. The video source is on the right channel and has been used as speed
reference, while the alternate audience recording has been accelerated by +3%
and is on the left channel. As usual both sources have been de-clicked and the
phase upgraded. However, this is another excellent sounding recording of a
great performance.
