The review

This series is dedicated to the 5 (actually there were 6) nights residency Mick Taylor performed at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City in 2012; here the line-up consisted of: Mick Taylor on guitar and vocals, Hamish Stuart on guitar, Max Middleton on keyboards, Wilbur Bascomb on bass, Arno Hecht on sax and Bernard Purdie on drums.

All the versions located were identical. As usual, the recording has been de-clicked and its phase slightly improved. The transitions between tracks have been reworked, so each starts now with a song. The sound output is excellent, remarkable Bernard Purdie’s subtle but consistent touch that marks every song.
