The review
This is the second concert from the 14th of May: this show too was streamed live on livestream.com. All previous circulating audio versions are coming from the streamed live webcast. These versions were lossy. BlueTurns2Grey made a new capture of this broadcast: it is now lossless but contained numerous micro-dropouts and small repetitions. BT2G did a significant amount of work repairing this recording, but comparing it with the versions posted on YouTube allowed to find and improve some of the other flaws. It was then decided to offer the webcast recording reworked and the merges created by using the videos that appered on YouTube too uploaded by:
‘LazyLightning55A’ and No Expectations uploaded by ‘Unsteadyfreddie’. In particular on Disc One in Blues In The Morning 4 microgaps have been compensated and a short repetition deleted; on Can't You Hear Me Knocking 2 microgaps have been compensated and a short repetition deleted at 6’30, on No Expectations a microgap was deleted at 0’20. On Disc Two on I Wonder Why at 8’00, a 0,5 second gap from the webcast version has been compensated, on Blues In The Morning at 5’31 and at 8’56 2 microgaps compensated; Can't You Hear Me Knocking has been merged until 8’32, at 4’12 a 0,2 second gap has been compensated. No Expectations (merged with Unsteadyfreddie recording) has been merged except for the first 15 seconds and a 0,2 second microgap in the webcast version has been compensated (deleted from the Unsteadyfreddie version). The webcast version is neat and excellent, however the merged version provides a wider spectrum with full stereo effect: it is possible to listen to the keyboards on the left channel and the guitar on the right one, as if this was an official record.
