The next stop of the 1989 American-Canadian Tour was in Toronto, at the
famous El Mocambo Tavern (too bad the taper was not there 12 years earlier);
all versions of this show came from the same source but the one chosen was the
one with better dynamics, however it did not have the more correct speed: so the
chosen one had to be accelerated by +2%. The recording is now de-clicked, phase
adjusted and the sound refocused. Luckily this time we are back to the great
standards of the first recordings, so it is possible to dig Taylor’s great
performance throughout this concert (check the spectacular version of Red
House).
In particular on Semolina there were 4 seconds of repetition, now deleted, on Goin'
South the sound in the first part has now been amplified. Note that the Band
Introduction was in a bluesy mood
