REVIEW:

Until recently we only had a limited and incomplete recording of average sound quality for this show: 3 tracks were incomplete, but the recording was lossless (source #1). A much better sound quality recording (source #2) was then posted on ‘LestatKatt’s Channel’: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvdqXx-vgZU

Unfortunately, this alternate recording was lossy and it missed the encore (Teresa).

So, it was decided to offer 3 versions:

Vol 03a corresponds to the 1st reworked source

Vol 03b corresponds to the 2nd reworked source

Vol 03c will be a Frankenstein version that will mix the 2 sources to have the most complete recording and that will merge them to have a more spacious sound and this is reviewed here.

Here is a mix (to get the most complete recording) and a merge from the 2 existing sources.

For the merges as reference was taken the new recording on the left channel with the old version on the right channel. The old version ran way too quick and had to be decelerated by -4,5%.

In detail on Disc One the I ntro & Tuning come solely from source #2, from Badmouth Mama through Shake Your Hips all songs have been merged. That's Alright had a big gap in version #1 (around 2’28 was missing!) so from 2’10 until 4’38, the music comes solely from source #2 and the last 5 seconds are solely from source #1.

On Disc Two You Gotta Move has been merged except for the first 10 seconds which come solely from source #2. There was a big gap in version #1, the end of this track and part of the banter were missing (around 4’29). So, from 6’40 to the end, the recording comes solely from source #2.

I’m Leaving You is a new song that has been merged, like Cairo Motel; You Don't Miss Your Water has been merged except for the last 25 seconds which are coming solely from source #1

Teresa is incomplete and comes solely from source #1. This is another great release with Taylor playing at his top on each song.
