REVIEW: |
All versions of this show were identical: a
good recording, but (what a pity!)
saturated especially on bass frequencies and there was nothing to do about it;
however, Taylor guitar is mostly unaffected.
The line-up
here consisted of: Mick Taylor on guitar and vocals, Jimmie Wood on vocals,
harmonica and guitar, Jimmy King on guitar and backing vocals, Greg Boaz on bass
and backing vocals and George Kelly on drums. Note: with special guest Chris
Mercer on sax on You Shook Me. In detail on Disc One Badmouth Mama is
introduced as a song written by Mick Taylor (unfortunately never recorded) then
on I Want To Get Married note, at 6’, a fade in/out due to a tape flip (some
seconds are lost), on Disc Two Cairo Motel was cut in 2 parts, it’s now
reconnected at 9’42, Teresa too was cut in 2 parts, it’s now reconnected at
2’24 but some seconds are lost.
