REVIEW: |
Volume three
of this series covering Mick Taylor 1990 European tour presents the Munich show
re
cording of which all versions
were coming from a video rip, but with defaults. All tracks have been edited, deleting
lots of little defaults/gaps coming from the video recordings and the treble
frequencies have been decreased using a slight filter. The overall length was
around 80 minutes, so t was decided to separate the whole into two discs. Both
Laundromat Blues and Can’t You Hear Me Knocking have fade ins. This recording
is on the verge of being saturated, so much so that it cannot be enjoyed in
full.
As bonus have
been added two extracts of a Mick Taylor interview for the German TV channel Tele
5 for a show called Yesterday, which came from Munich. Only the parts with the
extracts from Munich’s show were kept. In particular on Leather Jacket is shown
the work of Max Middleton better than on the video recording rip.
