REVIEW:

For the time being, this is the one and only show from this Tumblin’ Dice line-up that has been circulating; with regards to the previous line up there is a change of drummer, here the player is Jerry Serino. There were two versions coming from two different sources, the first recording contained the 3 last tracks but missed the two Ivan Neville songs; the second version came from ‘Lobito’ and was posted by Kingrue in The Trader’s Den board. This soundboard has a better sound, centered on Ivan Neville's piano and voice but Mercy, Mercy, Mercy was incomplete and the last 3 tracks where MT is more present were missing. It was then decided to do 3 versions for this show which are all interesting: this is the first one that contains all the songs Taylor played on. This recording was decelerated it by -3,67% to be in synch with the other version. Ivan Neville's solo tracks are missing and there are fade ins/outs after I Wonder Why, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy and Hide Away. Each track now starts with a song and micro-gaps between tracks were deleted. This concert has been available as Tumbling Dice at Woody’s (TMOQ) and Miami 1993 (2020034-5) the latter just credited to Taylor. The concert starts with a rendition of the Bar Keys Last Night, an instrumental that shows all   of Bobby Keys mastership in sax playing, followed by a more standard Tumbling Dice setlist; the fact that it is a soundboard is an additional pleasure.
