REVIEW: |
This concert is the
first played in the East Coast, for a 2 days tour; here the line-up is
different though, we have
: Mick Taylor on guitar
and vocals, Babi Floyd on vocals, Bobby Keys on sax, Ivan Neville on keyboards
and vocals, Michael Neville on bass and Adolfo ‘Fofi’ Lancha on drums. Due to
his illness Nicky Hopkins was not included and replaced by Ivan Neville that
together with Baby Floyd would be featured in Keith Richards Expensive Winos.
Apart from the line-up there is little in common with the previous shows as it
seems more a Taylor solo setlist with the inclusion of Ivan Neville Hell To
Tell, probably the only thing in common being the presence of Bobby Keys.
The recording has not been circulating widely; it seems to be a
recording from the first set with the second set missing. There were fade ins/outs
between the tracks, the sound has been amplified a bit and tracks reorganized.
