REVIEW: |
This recording
has not been circulating widely so far, it comes from a rip of a video; the
sound was present only in one channel and saturated
but Taylor was on fire,
it seems he was very much enjoying the band and was in a joking mood… So
the video was ripped, keeping only
the left channel and duplicated it; the tracks were reworked a
nd the beginning and the end of the discs built. Unfortunately, the overall
sound is not that great, at times saturated and obviously on mono, also the end
of the show is missing; at times it is possible however to hear in full Taylor’s
playing and especially on the
two new songs, Albert King’s Laundromat Blues and Jimi Hendrix Red
House he does shine.
